What is the value of our time?
We like to think that the value of our time is priceless. We readily share our time with people we love or on things that matter to us; how we spend our time–and with whom we spend it–is a very personal decision. Sometimes, we have a choice and sometimes we do not. The sound of the word value is appealing. Getting the best value for our time and money is the outcome we strive for.
What steps can we take to preserve our value and take steps to reach our potential?
By living our lives thus far, we have enough experiences to help us review our journey objectively so that we can get some idea about what our value is and what values define us. If we continue on the same path, the outcome will not be any different than what it is today.
Are we feeling the freedom of finding opportunities to do what is most important to us or are we making decisions to explore the possibilities?
It is only when someone appreciates our value, we feel happy and inspired, even motivated to do better. When someone does not appreciate our value, we feel hurt or sad, even angry at that person or the situation. As human beings, we depend on one another to reflect our inherent value. It is this positive connectivity that adds meaning to our existence and fills our mind with happiness.
This is the value of time.
